 | The success of the BMW M3 started 25 years ago with Roberto Ravaglia. Thanks to the BMW M3, he was standing on the podium as the first World Touring Car Champion. In the same year, 1987, the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) also went to the new BMW M3, with Eric van de Poele behind the wheel.
