Meet Our New General Manager: Tim Parker

Welcoming Tim Parker, New General Manager at BMW of Bridgeport
BMW of Bridgeport is proud to welcome Tim Parker as its new General Manager. A seasoned professional in the automotive industry, Tim brings a lifetime of experience, having started his career in his hometown of York, England. Since arriving in the U.S., he has remained dedicated to the BMW brand.
“My job is to steer the ship,” Tim says. “I’m not more important than anyone else here. A service advisor who interacts with 60 customers a day has just as much influence on our success. I’m here to make sure everyone has the tools and support they need to make that impact.”
Driving enthusiasm is at the heart of the Bimmerphile lifestyle, and Tim can be seen riding his BMW 1250 GS Adventure, or his modified K100 RS café racer around town and country. Tim is also an artist, and was naturally drawn to the tradition of BMW Art Cars including the first: the 1975 3.0 CSL LeMans race car painted by Alexander Calder.
“The E9 is the most beautiful car BMW ever built, in my opinion,” Tim shares. “I found one in great condition in San Diego and had it transformed locally into a replica of the Calder Art Car.” That unique creation was featured in the July/August 2023 issue of Roundel magazine and even bears the autograph of racing legend Sam Posey on its dashboard.
Looking ahead, Tim is focused on delivering an exceptional experience at BMW of Bridgeport. “I want every customer to enjoy a premium, five-star experience—every time. That’s how you build trust, create loyal customers, and keep them coming back.”
With Tim at the helm, BMW of Bridgeport is poised for an exciting future driven by passion, excellence, and the enduring spirit of the Ultimate Driving Machine.
