Introducing Modern/Classic!

Introducing Modern/Classic: modern Mercedes-Benz and BMWs paired with the legendary classics that inspired them, a new social media series from BMW of North Haven, BMW of Bridgeport, and Mercedes-Benz of North Haven in collaboration with the Connecticut Valley BMWCCA and the Connecticut/Westchester chapter of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. It’s our way of getting to the heart of why we love these brands and what makes us enthusiasts, while adding a bit of provenance to the personal vehicles volunteered for photography by friends of Mauro Motors.

The 3-series celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and we have photographed two of the most famous Bimmers of all time, an ’87 E30 325i convertible belonging to Rich Carlo and a 1990 E30 M3 brought in by Bob Morin.

These bedroom poster-worthy embodiments of the brand were paired with their modern counterparts in the form of a 2025 G23 440i in brilliant Alpine White for the 325i and a powerful

G82 M4 in Isle of Man green, with a manual transmission!
