A Drive for Hope: Mauro Motors BMW Supports Families and Futures with Hole-in-One Challenge
BMW of Bridgeport Proudly Supports
Mauro Motors BMW of Bridgeport supported two great causes this May, offering up a free 36-month lease on a 2025 X3 to anyone who could hit a lucky hole-in-one. The events were held on May 12th at Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange, and on May 19th at the Country Club of Fairfield, in Southport.
The event at Grassy Hill was in support of the Nicole Donzello Foundation third annual golf outing. Nicole, who was diagnosed with acute monoblastic leukemia (AML) in February 2015, decided to make it her mission, through the foundation’s work, to ease the financial burden patients and their families receiving treatment at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven Health.
Next, the X3 was off to the Country Club of Fairfield, where it took its place in the sun overlooking Long Island Sound as a hole-in-one prize to benefit the 13th annual golf classic benefitting the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport. The Academy is one school with four campuses in Bridgeport, and offers a faith-based education, a safe learning environment, with proceeds from the event going to need-based scholarships. Approximately 85% of Academy families live at or below the poverty level and 96% qualify for need-based assistance.
